Course Overview
MoCo Mania consists of 8 functional fitness stations and is competed in teams of 2 or 4. After each station, teams complete a 400 meter synchronized run.

Across the event, athletes will complete 2 miles of total running while rotating through strength, endurance, and conditioning based movements.
​
The format challenges pacing strategy, communication, muscular stamina, and cardiovascular capacity in a continuous, team based race environment.

BOX STEP OVERS
Box Step Overs require athletes to step up and over a box repeatedly while holding weight. This movement builds lower body strength, balance, and steady pacing under load.​​​

Kettlebell Lunges challenge unilateral leg strength and core stability. Athletes move forward in a controlled lunge pattern while holding weight, demanding endurance and control.

FARMER'S CARRY
Farmers Carry tests grip strength and overall stability. Athletes carry heavy implements over distance, maintaining posture and pace while managing fatigue.

BURPEE BROAD JUMPS
Burpee Broad Jumps combine explosive power with conditioning. Athletes drop into a burpee and immediately transition into a forward jump, repeating the sequence for distance.

BEAR CRAWL & OVERHEAD SHOULDER PRESS HOLD
Bear Crawl with Overhead Shoulder Press Hold is a partner based endurance challenge. While one partner completes the assigned movement, the other maintains a locked out overhead press hold. This tests shoulder stability, core engagement, and mental resilience.

Kettlebell Goblet Squats test lower body strength and muscular endurance, requiring consistent depth and posture under load.

Dumbbell Snatches test explosive hip drive and coordination. Athletes move a dumbbell from the ground to overhead in one fluid motion, alternating arms.

American Swings focus on posterior chain power and shoulder endurance. The kettlebell travels from between the legs to fully overhead, demanding controlled momentum and core stability.
