Top finishing teams in each division will receive awards and sponsor provided prizes. Additional recognition may be given for standout performances, team spirit, and sportsmanship.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON RACE DAY?
Athletes should bring appropriate training apparel, supportive athletic footwear, water, and any personal recovery items they may need. All other competition equipment will be provided on site.
REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY
All registration fees are non refundable. Team member substitutions may be permitted up to a specified deadline prior to the event, subject to approval. No transfers or changes will be accepted after the posted cutoff date to ensure accurate heat assignments, merchandise orders, and race day logistics.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?
Registration will close approximately 30 days prior to the event to allow time for merchandise production and race day preparations. Tickets may sell out before that deadline, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?
A portion of proceeds and sponsorship support local charities and organizations throughout Montgomery County and Maryland, reinforcing MoCo Mania’s commitment to community impact.
IS THE EVENT SPECTATOR FRIENDLY?
Yes. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend and support the athletes throughout the day. The event will feature vendor booths, sponsor activations, and a high energy atmosphere for the entire community to enjoy. Spectators must register in advance through the registration page, and entry requires a minimum $5 donation per person, with proceeds supporting local charitable initiatives.
WHAT IS MOCO MANIA?
MoCo Mania is a large scale fitness competition in Montgomery County that combines structured athletic challenges with community engagement. The event features eight strength and endurance stations separated by synchronized 400 meter runs, testing teamwork, strategy, and overall conditioning while supporting local businesses and charitable initiatives.
CAN I VOLUNTEER & COMPETE?
To ensure fairness and proper event operations, individuals may not compete and volunteer on the same day. If you would like to be involved in both capacities, you may choose to compete in one event year and volunteer in another.
HOW CAN I REGISTER?
Registration is completed through the official website. Select your team size (2 or 4), complete the registration form, and submit payment to secure your spot. Registration is confirmed only once payment is received and you receive a confirmation email.
WHAT ARE THE EVENT RULES?
All exercises must meet clearly defined movement standards to count. Judges will be assigned to each station to ensure proper form, safety, and fairness. Detailed movement guidelines and athlete briefing information will be provided prior to event day.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
MoCo Mania is open to adults 18 and older of all fitness levels and training backgrounds. Whether you are new to competition or an experienced athlete, all are welcome to register as part of a team of 2 or 4. Participants should understand that the event includes weight bearing movements, running, and high intensity physical challenges. Individuals with medical conditions, physical limitations, or injuries that would prevent them from safely running, lifting, carrying, or holding the prescribed weights outlined in the course overview should not register without medical clearance. Athlete safety and responsible participation are a priority.
